Goa PSC Recruitment 2026 – Vacancy Details

The Goa PSC Recruitment 2026 notification announces a total of 84 vacancies across Tutor/Demonstrator, Dietician, and Insurance Medical Officer posts.

Goa PSC Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

Tutor/Demonstrator – Goa Medical College (Group A):
- Essential Qualifications:
  - A recognised medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act No. 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  - Knowledge of Konkani.
- Desirable Qualifications:
  - Post-graduate degree or equivalent qualification in the speciality concerned from a National Medical Commission (then Medical Council of India) recognised medical college/institution.
  - Knowledge of Marathi.

Dietician – Directorate of Health Services:
- Essential Qualifications:
  - Degree in Home Science of a recognised University or equivalent.
  - Knowledge of Konkani.
- Desirable Qualifications:
  - Diploma in Dietetics.
  - Post-Graduate Diploma or Degree in Nutrition.
  - Experience as Dietician in Hospital.
  - Knowledge of Marathi.

Insurance Medical Officer – ESI Scheme, Labour Department:
- Essential Qualifications:
  - A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (Act 102 of 1956). Holders of qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should fulfil the conditions stipulated in Section 13(3) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  - Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
  - Knowledge of Konkani.
- Desirable Qualifications:
  - Experience in general medical practice.
  - Knowledge of Marathi.

Goa PSC Recruitment 2026 – Application Fee

Application fee as applicable per GPSC norms.

Online Payment Mode:
- Make online payment through the GPSC portal.
- Download e-receipt showing successful payment status.

Offline Payment Mode (SBI Challan):
- Generate e-challan from the portal.
- Make cash payment at any SBI Branch situated in Goa only, on or before the last date (validity of e-challan is seven days from generation).
- Bank Stamp is essential on the e-challan.
- Stamped e-challan to be produced to the Commission’s office on or before the last date of submission of application.

Only after successful payment can candidates download their application form.

Applications where fee payment has been made after the last date will be summarily rejected and no refund will be provided.

Age relaxation applicable for reserved category candidates as per Government of Goa rules.

Tutor/Demonstrator (Goa Medical College): As per Pay Matrix Level-10.

Dietician (Directorate of Health Services): As per Pay Matrix Level-6.

Insurance Medical Officer (ESI Scheme, Labour Department): Rs. 15,600–39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/- (pre-revised); As per Pay Matrix Level-10.

General Information / Instructions

Candidates should carefully read the “Instructions” available on the Commission’s website https://gpsc.goa.gov.in before filling the application online.

In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani, the Goa Public Service Commission may recommend a candidate if otherwise found fit and this requirement can be relaxed by the Government, on the recommendation of GPSC, in the case of Group ‘A’ posts in Professional Colleges and Consultants in the Directorate of Health Services.

Prescribed Essential Qualifications (EQs) are minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview.

Where the number of applications received is large, the Commission will short-list the candidates to be called for interview as mentioned in the “Instructions”.

Email address and mobile number of the candidate should invariably be provided in the application form. The Commission will send all communications concerning the candidate’s application through the email address/mobile number provided.

All candidates are advised to check their email accounts/mobile phones/Commission’s website regularly for updates/notices concerning their application.

If any discrepancy is observed in the translated version of the advertisement, the English version will be considered as authentic.

In case of non-availability of candidates in the category of PwD (for Tutor/Demonstrator posts), an equal number of posts shall be kept vacant from the Unreserved category.

After filling the application form appropriately, candidates must pay the application fee either Online or via Offline SBI Challan mode.

Only after successful fee payment can candidates download their application form.

Candidates choosing Offline (SBI Challan) payment must make cash payment at any SBI Branch in Goa only, before the last date, and submit the Bank-stamped e-challan to the Commission’s office on or before 03 April 2026.

The last date for submission of applications for all posts is 03 April 2026.

Candidates must provide a valid email address and mobile number in the application form to receive all Commission communications.
